  • Price Range:

While the breathtaking views promise a memorable dining experience, the reality falls short of expectations. A staggering $39.50 for a small, dry piece of fish served on bland mashed potatoes feels more like a culinary disappointment than a fine dining experience. The lackluster decor, with its absence of tablecloths and the use of tea towel-like napkins, further detracts from the ambiance. Although our waitress was friendly, her failure to introduce herself and the lingering dirty plates during dessert ordering left us feeling neglected. With a limited menu that failed to deliver even a basic seafood platter, our party of ten left feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return.

This venue boasts a prime location with stunning vistas, yet its execution is perplexing. The dining process is disjointed; patrons must order drinks and food at the bar, pay upfront, and navigate a self-service cutlery and water station. The menu outside didn’t match our dining night, forcing us to choose from a meager selection of overpriced bar snacks. The overall experience felt muddled, lacking a clear identity or direction. With so much potential, it’s a shame that the dining experience did not reflect the beautiful surroundings, leaving us yearning for a more cohesive and enjoyable outing.

Indulge in a delightful morning ritual with a steaming cup of coffee and a mouthwatering Brekky burger, perfectly paired after a refreshing surf. This bustling spot is always alive with energy, yet your wait is minimal, ensuring you can savor every moment. The highlight of my experience was the charming young man taking orders—an absolute gem who adds a personal touch to the bustling atmosphere. I can’t wait to see him again next Sunday!

For lunch, I opted for the fish and chips along with scallops, complemented by a rich coffee and a vibrant pink juice. The service was impressively swift, with my coffee arriving in just five minutes. While the chips were delightfully crunchy, the fish fell short, being a bit chewy and not worth the $18 price tag. The tartare sauce leaned more towards sweetness, reminiscent of mustard rather than the classic flavor. For a truly satisfying meal, I’d recommend asking for less salt on those delectable chips!
